This is the deck that started it all! This is the basic 2-player Pokemon collectible card game starter set. It is a great way to get into the game inexpensively. This deck is good for 2 people to learn and play the game!Gotta catch em all! But before you decide, try out the Pokémon 2-Player Starter Set. You ll get 60 Pokémon trading cards, plus a bonus foil super card, 10 damage counters, and complete rules for this fast-paced game. The deck is meant to be split into two, 30-card minidecks (listed in the rules) to learn the game, but they can be combined into one regular deck as well. Players compete to bring out their combatant cards to the table, and power them up for battle with energy cards. Whoever wins the game is the champion Pokémon trainer!
