Looking for a pro level yoyo for both nonresponsive and responsive play? Then you need the Proto9 Edition Red yoyo from Yoyo King. Successfully created via crowdfunding on Kickstarter, the original black Proto9 yoyo continues to be a big hit.

But we kept getting more and more requests for a traditional, responsive version of the Proto9. The original black model cannot be used with a narrow bearing, so we went back to the drawing board and tweaked the interior design to allow a shorter axle that would fit a narrow bearing for the Edition Red model. When you put in the also-included wide, angled C bearing, it becomes a nonresponsive yoyo that DOES NOT WAKE UP and requires a bind to get back to your hand. For advanced players who know how to bind only, or are willing to learn.

Edition Red Version Comes With Narrow, Responsive Bearing Installed and Wide Nonresponsive Bearing in the Box. Launched on Kickstarter, the popular Proto9 yoyo is now available on Amazon! Constructed of aircraft quality 6061 aluminum. Anodized for color, added strength and corrosion resistance.

Take apart design for ease of changing and untangling string. Solid red on one side, with Proto9 written on the other. Silicone pads for binding-required, unresponsive play when wide bearing is installed. With the narrow bearing, it will wake up.
